Carlos Zambrano went the distance and Jacoby Ellsbury jacked one out of the
ballyard as the San Diego Padres outscored the Philadelphia Phillies 6 to
2.

San Diego had 3 runs cross the plate in the top of the 5th inning. The big
moment was provided by Mark Teixeira who silenced the stadium when he lifted
one out of the park for a two run home run (his 1st of the season). San
Diego had a total of 10 hits for the game.

The victory was credited to Zambrano(1-0) who went the distance, allowing 2
runs. Josh Banks(0-3) ended up with the loss.
