Eric Hinske rocketed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Houston Astros won at
Minute Maid Park in dramatic fashion over the San Diego Padres, the final
score, 8 to 5.

Houston scored the decisive runs in a big bottom of the 9th inning with 3 runs
on 2 hits. Endy Chavez kicked off the action when he reached on an error.
Ryan Ludwick struck out, unable to help the rally. After another out, Jhonny
Peralta came to the plate and laced a one-base hit. Hinske stepped in and he
lofted a three-run bomb (his 4th of the season) giving Houston the win much
to the delight of the home town crowd. Houston finished with 12 hits while
San Diego ended up with 6.

The victory went to Brian Shouse(1-1) who went 2/3 of an inning, allowing 2
runs. Duaner Sanchez(0-1) suffered the loss in relief. He was pinned with
the loss despite not allowing an earned run in his 1 inning of work.
