Endy Chavez had 4 hits and scored 3 times as the Houston Astros beat the San
Diego Padres in 10 innings by a score of 5 to 4.
 
The score was tied at 4 after nine.  Houston won it in the 10th inning.
Chavez laced a base-knock.  Ryan Ludwick came next and he lined a one-base
hit.  After an out was recorded, Craig Breslow stepped in and he uncorked a
pitch that was ruled a passed ball.  Jhonny Peralta was up next and he
slapped a single resulting in an exciting win for Houston and a wild
post-game celebration by the home town fans.  Houston had 11 hits overall,
while San Diego had 8.
