The San Diego Padres nipped the Cincinnati Reds 3 to 2 at Great American Bpk
in a hard fought contest.

The deciding run was scored by San Diego in the top of the 8th. After an out
was recorded, Garret Anderson ripped a solo home run (his 1st of the season).
Cincinnati had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.

The win was credited to Craig Breslow(1-0) who went 1 and 2/3 innings allowing
no runs. Breslow was helped out by Chad Qualls who recorded his 1st save.
Luke Hochevar(1-2) was hit with the loss.

'We lose our concentration for one pitch, and we lose the game.' Seth Keffas
said after the game. 'Maybe now these guys will listen when I say they have
to concentrate on EVERY pitch.'
