Josh Johnson mowed down 11 San Diego batters as the Houston Astros defeated
the San Diego Padres 4 to 0 at Minute Maid Park.
Johnson(2-1) dominated San Diego hitters. He was stingy on the mound,
allowing just 4 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings improving his ERA from 3.00 to
2.00. Houston finished with just 6 hits in the victory.
Chris Volstad(0-1) was the loser. 'I've been working on a few things in my
delivery, and I think I'm hitting a good groove.' Johnson said after the
game. 'I'm ready to start another game tomorrow!'
