The Yankees edged the Padres 3-2. The Padres only scores came on solo home runs
by Uribe in the 3rd inning and Anderson in the 7th inning. The Yankees scored
three runs in the 6th inning when Zambrano gave up a walk and four singles, with
Beltre and L.Gonzalez producing the runs.

Zambrano was tagged with the loss. Guthrie went 7 innings for the win and Bruney
got the save.
