Kosuke Fukudome hit one over the fence and had 3 RBI at Chase Field where the
Arizona Diamondbacks beat the San Diego Padres 9 to 2.

Arizona took the lead for good in the bottom of the 2nd inning scoring one
runner. Arizona had 14 hits overall, while San Diego had 10.

The victory was credited to Andy Sonnanstine(13-8) who went 5 and 2/3 innings,
allowing 2 runs. Kevin Slowey(0-2) was the losing pitcher. By giving up 6
runs in 3 and 1/3 innings his ERA increased from 4.34 to 6.14.
