Scott Feldman pitched 7 strong innings at Petco Park as the San Francisco
Giants beat the San Diego Padres 3 to 1.

San Francisco won the game with a rally in the top of the 8th inning with 2
runs using 3 hits. Fred Lewis led off and keyed the rally when he tripled.
Lastings Milledge came next and he stroked a base-hit. Dan Uggla got his
chance to keep things going, but he went down on strikes. One out later,
David Murphy stepped in and he laced a single. Milledge then suprised
everyone by stealing home. James Loney got his turn next, but he was a
strikeout victim. San Francisco had 7 hits overall, while San Diego had 4.

Feldman(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing 1 run in 7 innings. Feldman was
helped out by Tyler Walker who recorded his 1st save. Nick Masset(0-1) was
hit with the loss in relief.
