Kevin Slowey pitched a complete game at Petco Park where the San Diego Padres
beat the Washington Nationals by the score of 7 to 1.

Slowey(2-0) gave San Diego a solid outing. He didn't allow much, just 6 hits
and 2 walks in 9 innings reducing his ERA from 1.23 to 0.55. San Diego
finished with 11 hits in the victory.

Scott Baker(0-1) was hit with the loss. He surrendered 5 runs and 9 hits in 6
innings.
