Chris Volstad held Cincinnati to 2 hits as the San Diego Padres defeated the
Cincinnati Reds by a score of 7 to 2 at Great American Bpk.

Volstad(1-0) was simply too much for the Cincinnati batters. He allowed just
2 hits and 2 walks in 9 innings. The game was a scoreless duel until the 6th
inning.

Tyler Yates(1-2) suffered the loss in relief. Despite taking the loss, he
