and Martin Prado hit 2 doubles at Petco Park where the Atlanta Braves beat
the San Diego Padres 7 to 2.

Santana(1-0) looked very much in control throughout the night. He allowed
just 7 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings. Atlanta had 12 hits for the night.

Yusmeiro Petit(2-1) was the losing pitcher. He was knocked around pretty
good, giving up 6 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings.
