into the 6th inning at Petco Park where the Atlanta Braves beat the San Diego
Padres by the score of 5 to 1.

Lincecum(1-0) contributed a very nicely pitched game. He was stingy on the
mound, allowing just 4 hits and 5 walks in 8 innings. The right-handed
Lincecum lost his chance for a no-hitter when Jacoby Ellsbury singled with
nobody out in the 6th inning. San Diego was out-hit by Atlanta, 13 hits to
6.

Shawn Estes(3-1) was the loser. He allowed 4 runs and 8 hits in 6 innings.
