Dan Uggla had 2 base hits as the San Francisco Giants defeated the San Diego
Padres in 13 innings by the score of 4 to 2 at Petco Park.
 
The score was tied at 2 after nine.  San Francisco came out the victor in the
13th inning.  Emilio Bonifacio led off and started the attack as he slapped a
base-hit.  Uggla stepped up next and he lined a single.  Troy Glaus then
laced a base-hit.  Felix Pie stepped in and he delivered a one-base hit.  One
out later, Mark Teahen came to the plate and grounded into a double play.
San Francisco totaled 10 hits on the afternoon.  
 
Tyler Walker(1-0) went 1 and 2/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Brian
Wilson earned his 2nd save.  Duaner Sanchez(0-1) absorbed the loss in relief.
