Josh Hamilton ripped a bases loaded blast at Petco Park as the Los Angeles(NL)
Dodgers beat the San Diego Padres 4 to 2.

Jair Jurrjens(1-1) delivered a fine performance for Los Angeles(NL). He
surrendered 7 hits and 1 walk in 6 and 1/3 innings. Jurrjens mowed down 7
San Diego batters lowering his ERA from 6.14 to 4.61. After the 3rd inning,
neither team was able to score.

Jurrjens got relief help from Francisco Rodriguez who gained credit for his
3rd save. Joe Blanton(8-7) was given the loss. He gave up 6 hits and 1 walk
in 6 and 2/3 innings.
