The San Diego Padres edged the San Francisco Giants at Petco Park by the score
of 5 to 4.
Craig Breslow(3-0) slammed the door shut in an excellent relief performance.
No one got on base in his perfect 1 and 1/3 innings. San Diego and San
Francisco each finished the afternoon with 11 hits.
Chad Qualls earned the save, his 17th. Aaron Cook(1-1) was the loser. He was
